Our management places a strong emphasis on research and development in order to keep ahead of our competitors and to keep abreast of the latest developments in technology. Our research and development initiatives are focused on finding alternate new raw materials or production processes which may lower production cost or increase consistency of product quality.
Our research and development team comprises 24 research and development personnel (nine general engineers, thirteen managers and two designers) . The working experience of these personnel range from two to thirty years, with the average working experience of seven years.
Our Group founded the Nanhai Plastics Packaging Research Centre in 2002 with the support of the Department of Technical Science. The Department of Technical Science has provided us with a valuable platform for recruiting research and development talents.
Our research and development team has developed the following products:
1) Modified plastic and metal alloy composite for pharmaceutical bottles
We began using a new modified plastic and metal alloy composite for the manufacture of pharmaceutical bottles using automatic injection-stretch-blow molding technology. Benefiting from improved material properties and automatic injection-stretch-blow molding technology, the new bottle is superior to ordinary PP or PE bottles in terms of hygiene, stiffness, barrier properties and appearance and is suited for pharmaceutical packaging.
The product received New Product Development Award for use of plastic and metal alloy composition in pharmaceutical packaging materials from the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province in 2003.
2)
PET eye-drop bottle
We began producing high quality PET eye drop bottles using automatic injection-stretch-blow molding technology. The PET eye drop bottles are made using the AOKI machine from Japan, which is equipped with a hot-running-system mould, the PET eye drop bottle product has superior hygiene, mechanical strength and barrier properties.
The product received New Product Development Award for PET Eye-Drop Bottle from the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province in 2003.
